About Happy Tails Photography

about-2

Growing up I was surrounded with animals of all kinds… dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, cows and sheep… they were all part of me growing up and no doubt why I love all creatures, great and small. Some of my fondest memories are of the pets we owned, including the time I let my blue tongue lizard out for a walk and was genuinely surprised it never came back (an interesting life lesson learned at the tender young age of 5).

I also had a natural curiosity for photography, and when I received my first camera I would spend hours to capture the perfect photo of our pets. As my personal style and artistic flair developed I was thrilled to have the opportunity to combine both passions and bring you Happy Tails Photography.

about-3I prefer to work mostly outdoors with natural light, and strive to make your session fun and low pressure… an enjoyable adventure for both you and your pet. To capture your pet’s personality and those moments special to you, we will spend lots of time on cuddles and play, being continually adaptable, and incredibly patient!

I believe the journey is as important as the reward and look forward to working with you and your furry family to create an unforgettable experience.

George Macfarlane is a uniquely creative photographer who is also very personable.  She takes the time to understand her subjects so as to photograph them best.  George is sensitive to protocol and her honest nature serves her well so as to gain trust with her subjects.  This always lends it self to great pictures!  I would always recommend a photo session from George.
